Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology

In our research we focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of odor detection in vertebrates and invertebrates. We functionally characterize recombinant odorant receptor proteins to identify effective odorants, and investigate receptor interaction partner as well as trafficking mechanisms.
